Here’s the deal with PEOPLE’S COURT:

Battle Format Battle shall start at 10:30pm. Teams will only consist of 2 people per crew. Only 4 crews will battle each month. 2 rounds each session. Then finals. DJ will provide music.

Dancers must perform a 1-2 minute choreographed routine or freestyle that best suite the music given.
All form of dance welcome, just as long as you can perform to the music selected by DJ. But note, it will be HIP HOP songs/beats. So “Bring It On”: bboys/bgirls, krumpers, poppers/lockers, jazz, salsa, tap-dancers and Hip Hop Heads! Let’s see who is gonna get “Served”!

How you win…. That’s why it’s called PEOPLE’S COURT. The crowd will be the judge. No shady judges here! So the more people your crew brings, the more people who will cheer you on. But simply the crew with the best style, uniqueness and routine will be the crowd pleaser! The winner from the first month will have a choice to defend their title and be automatically registered for the next month’s battle and vise versa.

What Dancers Get…. All dancers get major exposure for their crew, competition experience, complimentary VIP tickets valid before 10:30pm, getting to battle the other crews in Vancity and not to mention getting to dance the night away! Winners receive cash prize of $200, bragging rights for being the best and if your that good, you have a chance to win up to $1,000 if you can defend your title each month.

No-registration fee needed. Be at the club by 9:45pm-10:00pm to register and to sign dancer waiver form. Be 19+ with 2 pieces of valid ID. (17/8 may enter the battle but not stay for the club night)
