I would like to sincerely apologize for my long absense since January. I wasn’t posting much due to studies and work. However, I am now back and the summer…..or hopefully a long awaited spring is upon us and thus the wonderful talent of our Vancouver photography locale will be exposed in the “The Week’s Best Photos”. The 4thercrd.com Flickr group has substantially grown and the photos continually being added look better then ever. So if you haven’t yet joined, please do at http://www.flickr.com/groups/4thercrd/
The first photo that I really wanted to include in this weeks post is a crazy fun photograph by Nicolas Alary. The blue color tones are really fresh and expressive and add a sort of youthfullness to the shot, not to mention the subject whose got his own thing going on in this shot. You decide for yourself!

This photograph by Haze Photography is plain magical. I never spend enough time outside in the evening to witness such scenery so it’s always a pleasure to see it captured by someone else! One could say that for every magical thing we miss, someone else experiences for us…and hopefully that someone is a photographer! Amazing shot!

This is one of my most favourite buildings in downtown Vancouver and I’m glad to see that James Takizawa capture it so well. The angle at which the photo is taken exphasizes it’s intimidating stance above most of downtown Vancouver, not to mention it’s location in the heart of downtown’s business distict.
