Come out this Friday to Spartacus Books and celebrate with us the wonderful work our youth has done for the community with the CAP Program.
Hosted by me (Julia), who is one of the Regional Coordinators for the CAPYI program at VCN; the art show is an “end-of-program” celebration that will display the art work of our interns and will exhibit what they’ve done at their cummuntiy workplaces called “CAP sites”.
I hope all of you who are invited will at least drop by and say hi to me as I haven’t seen any of you in ages!
Vancouver DJ David Love Jones will be playing his mixes during the evening. I sincerely hope you will come by and give him a shout. He record shop called Vinyl Records is located just below Spartacus Books (location of art-show). Appetizers and drinks (non-alcoholic) will also be provided along with a Projector Screening of the CAPYI book which contains each interns quote page along with photos (all created by me).
P.S: Theres talks of an after-party happening (with alcohol) at Vinyl records, just downstairs of Spartacus after 7:30.
