Picture of baby hedgehogs is included just to grab your attention. I have no idea who took this photo. Comments just on this photo are more then welcome.
I strongly encourage everyone who hasn’t yet done so to please join our 4thercrd.com Flickr Photo Group. Joining has many benefits but the main two are:
- It will give me more choice whe picking best photos of the week.
- You will get some glorifying spotlight shone on your beautiful photography once picked.

On that note, I bring you the wonderful pieces of photo genius that made my list this week!
Simon Clarke made my list again with his wonderful reincarnation of Alfred Hitchcock’s “The Birds”.

Elizabeth a.k.a. Rocket Candy channelled the work of Simon Clarke with her photo of trees, taken on a photowalk she had with me. In fact as she took this photo she said to me “Can you believe that Simon was probably standing at this spot when he took this photo of the winter trees, and we’ve never even met him”. I guess you can feel the presence of other people just by being in the same place where they once took the same photo themselves.

A beautifully detailed photo by Devlon Duthie. Although it’s winter, his photo reminds me of summer…a melancholic summer.

I love these… I told the system to resize the images to 400 pixels in width (proportionately) so that they don’t eat into the next column. I know on my system the originals would look cool but I know not everyone has a double-monitor console with widescreen views.
How’s the winter up on the mountain?
YAY YAY!! I remember that day.. and the coffee afterwards ^____^”
