The folks at Spartacus Books are yet again teaming up with Gallery Gachet to put together an art show called “The Bathroom Gallery.” I was fortunate enough to go last year and quite frankly couldn’t have spent a better evening anywhere else. The Bathroom Gallery art show is worth visiting because it combines two of Vancouver’s most culturally explicit non-profit venues and collaborates their achievements into an amazing evening of art. Gallery Gachet supports and displays the work or artists with disabilities. Most of you who went to the “Hot One Inch Action” button show probably remember how fun and interactive it was, even better - Vancouverites got to view the amazing work of our local artists.

Last year the evening was a collaboration of music by the local DJ who owned a record shop right below Spartacus Book on West Hastings along with donated wine, some appetizers, books, interesting people, some comfy couches and art. What more could one ask for? This week the artist whose work will be on display is Jake Prium.
