Yes, it’s true; Med students will be putting down their books for one evening and tapping into their artistic side for a change. The Spring Gala is completely organized by UBC Medical students, and all proceeds go to charity (the chosen charity for this year is Let Kids Play). There are no evening gowns involved in this gala though- instead, there will be lots of exciting and varied performances (mostly by medical students), from the Cha Cha and Bhangra, to Ballet and Martial Arts.
