I suppose this means that the future of ink on our fingers will eventually come to an end. I wonder though, if in the present the internet can really be a "mass media" due to the digital divide and still-limited access in certain parts of the world. Of course, there are also a whole range of issues when you compare the two media. What does a newspaper enhance and the internet make obsolete, and vice versa? I wonder what Marshall McLuhan would say. xo
