Two of our writers are going to this to review it for everyone, but here’s a preview for you. Don’t miss their first show of 2008! Ring in the New Year with great songs and great stories: join us at the Roundhouse on January 8th for the 57th Vancouver edition of Bluebird North: Where Writers Sing and Tell. Discover a few more of the many talented Canadian artists who hang out just a few steps off the beaten path: the alt-country/folk/pop of pals Dustin Bentall (yes, that’s Barney’s son) and Cam Latimer, the rootsy, introspective songs of Tom Taylor and the arresting words and music of Metis/Cree/Saulteaux artist Sandy Scofield. It’s an eclectic combination of talented songwriters sure to thrive in Bluebird’s relaxed, acoustic performance atmosphere. Don’t miss our first show of 2008!
