After writing the last post I heard from a colleague that yesterday, the 27th, Kerrisdale had a similar accident, where an individual was hit by a travelling car, at an intersection. There has as yet been little media attention of this so, I urge everyone, to look into this and share the links. I’ll keep this article updated as we continue uncovering more details.
What I find discouraging and embarrasing about the Vancouver Sun (in today’s search on “car accidents” a general enough term) was that they covered an article on a man who impaled himself whilst driving but, in their selectivity perhaps, they neglect to cover an event where someone was impaled at the ignorance and negligence of another driver. Is it ok to kill yourself but totally not ok to do it to someone else, is that why they can’t talk about it.
