Even though the mainstream is flocking to VIFF right now (including myself), we do indeed understand that there are those who aren’t feeling it this year. I’ve heard it all before, just because a festival comes to town doesn’t mean life stops for all the other venues. And yes, that is very true, and it is a good point.
